Tampa Open Mic

Tha Tampa Improv offers comics experienced and new a stage to work on your material and get some feedback. Wednesday nights in the club's bar is an open mic. Sign up is availbale by going to the club night of and speaking with the bartender. Show is at 9:30p.m. so get there a few minutes early to secure your slot on stage. Show Bio:

The art of Stand-Up comedy meets the art of Improvisational comedy. Watch as Orlando’s best stand-up comics try their hand at improvisational comedy, in what we call, A JOKE OFF ! ! ! Starting with 8 comics, two will be on stage at a time, seeing who could come up with a funnier joke from a topic picked by the audience. After 3 rounds, a winner will be chosen by crowd applause. ROUND # 1 Will be four, 10 minute battles (5 topics to talk about for 1 minute each, per-person) ROUND # 2 Will be two, 6 minute battles ROUND # 3 Will be one, 6 minute battle.
