Florida Comics Joke Off

 

The next "Joke Off" is happening this Thursday night May 31st, 2012 at the Improv Orlando.
Carmen Vallone has been producing A Joke Off in the Orlando area for over 5 years. The show's always revolving list of players prove their stand up skills while broadening their improvisational skills in front of a live audience. The show concept has carried beyond the peninsula to Hollywood where the first ever Joke Off show was produced out of the famed Comedy Store in California. The you tube video below allows the comics to share their experience of when and why they may Joke Off.

Starting with 8 comics, two will be on stage at a time, seeing who could come up with a funnier joke from a topic picked by the audience. After 3 rounds, a winner will be chosen by crowd applause.

Orlando Comedians take Character Challenge

Tuesday March 6, 2012 the College Park Taste Restaurant will be serving up a Character Challenge for Orlando's local comedians. The 12 entrants will be introducing the character of their construction to an audience drinking $2.00 PBR's and $2 Well drinks. Entrance free is the word on Smith Street.
